Program Objective
In this workshop, the participants will acquire the auditing skills in order to be able to audit the effective implementation of ISO9001 and or ISO13485 QMS in their companies, according to the requirements of the standard.
The approach is practical, with reference to examples from the business world and transfer of the knowledge and experience of the trainer/consultant on the subject. The active participation of the trainees will be encouraged with exercises so that the subject becomes understandable.

Maria Achilleoudes has a “Master of Science” (Honors) from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science and a “Bachelor of Science” (Honors) from Queens College of the City University of New York.
She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and as a management consultant and project manager has carried out operational improvement studies which resulted in substantial efficiency improvements, cost reductions, reduction of operational risk, improvements to the service and product quality and employee morale. She has implemented lean, effective and efficient ISO9001 and ISO13485 Quality Management Systems. She has developed the operational infrastructure and post merger integration for a number of companies. As a trainer she has offered a number of open as well in-house seminars and workshops in the areas of Lean Six Sigma, operational improvement and quality management. Her clientele includes companies from a large variety of industries.
Prior to this, she worked as an internal consultant and as a manager of Quality and Productivity improvement for Laiki Group (financial) and Universal Bank for 12 years in the areas of productivity and quality improvement. The projects she has implemented, resulted in major cost reductions as well as significant improvements to the customer service quality, productivity, resources utilization and staff satisfaction.
For four years she worked for IBM USA, New York, in the Quality and Marketing divisions where quality is a day-to-day practice.
She is Lead assessor of the British Standards Institute (BSI), and the American Systems Registrar (ASR) for ISO9001 QMS.
She is an approved trainer of several American Organizations for Lean Six Sigma, which she offers in New York.
Her broad, rich technical knowledge and experience in the areas of her specialization, her hands-on project management know-how, as well as her experience in personnel management, enable her to be most effective and efficient in her work thus maximizing her customers’ benefit.
As a Management Consultant and Trainer she has several certifications including – Certified Management Consultant (CMC), senior member of the Institute of Management Consultants (UK based), Certified Lead Auditor by The International Register of Certificated Auditors – IRCA, senior member of the American Society for Quality, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and certified consultant and trainer by the Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus.
